It has miles of undeveloped wilderness shoreline and several large sugar sand beaches, which make for great family fun. It hosts a variety of wildlife, such as Bald Eagles, osprey, beaver, otters and deer. This chain of lakes includes Cass and six smaller lakes, including Andrusia and Pike Bay. The spring Walleye fishing is tremendous and remains consistent throughout the year. This chain supports healthy populations of Musky, Perch, Largemouth Bass, Blue Gill & Crappie. Cass Lake has islands to explore. One of the most intriguing is Star Island, which is a several hundred acre island with Lake Windigo nestled inside. You can hike miles of trails, picnic, explore, or take a canoe and fish for bass and panfish on Lake Windigo. Watch the kids swim, roast marsh mellows around the campfire, or sun yourself on the beach. Watch the sun set from the deck or the dock. Excellent dining, golf, shopping, casinos, churches, medical facilities, and many other popular tourist attractions, such as Itasca State Park, can be accessed by lake or by land. You will be 16 miles from Bemidji and 30 miles from Walker if you want a break from the lake and want to enjoy the fun to be found in these two towns. The use of life preservers is required by the law. We have a few, but it is best to bring your own.

It features open concept kitchen, dining and living areas with hardwood floors, picture windows and a long deck providing broad views of the lake and woods. Kid and family friendly lakeshore property on prestine Beltrami Lake located about 7 miles north of the city of Bemidji, MN. The home offers 3 bedrooms and 2-1/2 bathrooms. One master bedroom with bathroom. The other two bedrooms have a queen bed and bunk beds so the house can accommodate 10 people. The home also has a hot tub to enjoy after a long day enjoying the lake activities. Just off the dock is solid, sand bottom lake with crystal clear water. For the golfers out there, there are 3 nice courses all within 10 miles of cabin. This has been our personal cabin for a few years - and you can easily go together with 2 other families and still have family sleeping quarters. Each room has a queen bed (for adults) and a bunk bed where the bottom bunk is a full size bed and top is a twin. The "master" bedroom (in cabin terms) has a queen bed for adults with room to put a few blow up mattresses in. The entire property is historic. It is part of Cyrana Lodge. Cyril and Anabel d'Ath bought the property in the 1930's (hence Cyril and Ana = Cyrana). This cabin was the maid/workers quarters which is evident by the bedrooms with doors. The main floor was used as the dining hall. We have restored the original wood floors but modernized the interior. Historical documents show that John Dillinger was a guest here (google him). During fall and winter rentals, many people enjoy ice fishing on the lake. Miles and miles of snowmobile and manicured cross country ski trails. You can swim, fish, boat, or just play on the sandy shore of this clear, spring-fed lake known for its abundance of panfish. If you are looking for a place to create beautiful family memories, we'd love to host you and yours. The space The spacious master bedroom is filled with natural light, and the view is simply breathtaking. A comfortable reading nook near the window is the perfect place to sip your morning coffee, while you listen to the loons call each other on the water. If you need to combine work and play, the dedicated study spaces with high-speed internet can be found both in the master bedroom and the large living area. The second bedroom features two comfortable full beds, with fresh linens and plush pillows. Ample closet space and a large dresser will hold all of your belongings. Enjoy your favorite shows on the mounted smart tv. which can swivel as needed. Just down the hall you find the built-in washer and dryer units, available for use during your stay. We know how important that can be for traveling families. The bathroom features two sinks, a full tub/shower combination, and plenty of towels both for the bath and for the beach. The fully-stocked kitchen will allow you to create your family's favorite foods, to enjoy inside around the dining table or out on the deck on nice days. In the living space you will find the coffee bar, a second desk area with a view of the lake, and plenty of games for the whole family. The small duplo blocks tabletop can be flipped to the smooth side for puzzles, games, and coloring. Sink into the plush sectional large enough for your entire family and watch movies from the mounted smart tv, or just enjoy the spectacular view of the lake through the picture window. Welcome to the Loon Nest! Relive the nostalgic cabin experience of your youth. Built by my family in 1965 as a summer fishing cabin, many record-setting muskies were caught and released by my grandpa and dad while staying here. Facing Goose Island (a renowned fishing locale) on the big part of Leech Lake, you have unparalleled views and access. There are two bedrooms, each containing a new queen mattress. There is also an inflatable queen mattress that would be ideal in the living room area. The living room and kitchen/dining room have an open plan with high timber ceilings. Bring your boat! There is a dock and shore station for a small boat (18'fiberglass/20' aluminum maximum) to which you have access, complete with a foldable filet station on the front porch. Additional amenities include: canoe, washing machine and dryer, Wifi, DVD player and DVD library, full kitchen and bath, a lakefront fire pit, picture windows, and an outdoor sitting porch. Responsible pet owners with their furry friends are welcome. Take a step back in time! Our family has infused the cabin with love for 55 years- my grandma created all the rag rugs that still cover the floors and all the decor is vintage and original.
